Annual General Meeting 2005
The 2005 Annual General Meeting, chaired by Mr. Arden
Henley, was held on February 19, 2006 at Choi Hall,
SUCCESS. 87 registrants attended the meeting which ran
from 2:15 pm to 4:20 pm. Mr. Patrick Chan of SRTK Tam
Kurozumi, , Auditors for the College also attended. The
Chairman, 8 Committee Chairs, Registrar presented their
reports, and many Registrants raised questions and made
comments on different issues. (pic. 1) At the end of the meeting,
a Certificates of Appreciation were presented to Tahmineh
Nikookar (pic. 4) who was a Director 2002 to 2004.
Before the declaration of AGM, there was a fabulous musical
documentary film that was produced in British Columbia.
Two remarkable musicians, Mei Han and her husband, multi-instrumentalist
Randy Raine-Reusch (pic. 3) who participated
in the film, played a little live music before the film and hosted
the presentation about the production, and their experience
of working with people from so many different cultures.
Shortly after the documentary film prelude, The Board
presented a Honorary title of Doctor of TCM to former
Chair, Mason Loh, QC for his substantial contributions to
the TCM profession and the development of the College.
After the AGM, Andrew Taylor and Philippe Souvestre invited
professional Registrants to review the final draft of a formal
presentation which will be made to the Ministry of Health
soon.
